HiCrome™ UTI Agar, Modified

This medium is a modification of HiCrome™ UTI Agar (M1353), designed for isolation and confirmation of various microorganisms. It can be used as an alternative to MacConkey Agar. The formulation facilitates and expedites identification of both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria based on distinct colony colors, which result from genus or species-specific enzyme reactions with two chromogenic substrates.
