Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. Secondary antibodies provide increased versatility, allowing use with multiple detection systems such as HRP, AP, and fluorescence. They also enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.

Most secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
