Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is one of three cleavage stimulation factors (CSTF1, CSTF2, CSTF3) forming the CSTF complex. This complex participates in polyadenylation and 3′ end cleavage of pre-mRNAs. The encoded protein functions as a homodimer and interacts directly with CSTF1 and CSTF2. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
