Target Information

EGR2 유전자는 early growth response 2 단백질을 생성하는데, 이는 DNA의 특정 부위에 결합하여 유전자 발현을 조절하는 전사인자입니다.
이 단백질은 myelin 형성 및 유지에 관여하며, 신경세포의 효율적인 신호 전달을 돕습니다.
EGR2 유전자 변이는 Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (type 1D, type 4E) 또는 Dejerine-Sottas syndrome과 같은 탈수초성 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다.
