Product Specific Information
The 3D12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CCR7 (CD197), a G-protein-coupled chemokine receptor for CCL19 and CCL21. CCR7 is expressed on T cells and dendritic cells (DCs), distinguishing naive and memory T cell subsets and mediating migration to lymphoid tissues.
- Optimal Staining: Incubate ≥45 minutes at 2–8°C.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated on normal human peripheral blood cells.
- Recommended Use: 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test (100 µL final volume).
- Cell Count Range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Brilliant Violet™ 786 (BV786) emits at 786 nm and is intended for use with violet (405 nm) laser-equipped cytometers.
Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
Light-sensitive; protect from light.
Fixation Compatibility:
- Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (up to 3 days at 4°C, dark).
- Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information
CCR7 is a G-protein-coupled receptor induced by Epstein Barr virus (EBV). It mediates B lymphocyte activation and is expressed in blood, bone marrow, lymph node, and intestine. CCR7 regulates T cell migration to inflamed tissues and dendritic cell maturation. Ligands include CCL19 (ECL) and CCL21.
CCR family members (CCR1–CCR5, Duffy antigen) are key in chemotaxis and immune cell migration.
