Target Information
ZBTB1 acts as a transcriptional repressor. It represses cAMP-responsive element (CRE)-mediated transcriptional activation and plays a role in translesion DNA synthesis. It is required for UV-inducible RAD18 loading, PCNA monoubiquitination, POLH recruitment to replication factories, and efficient translesion DNA synthesis. ZBTB1 is essential for the transcriptional regulation of T lymphocyte development.
