Target Information
TOX3 contains an HMG-box, indicating involvement in DNA bending and unwinding and alteration of chromatin structure.
The C-terminus is glutamine-rich due to CAG repeats in the coding sequence.
A minor allele of this gene has been associated with elevated risk of breast cancer.
