AKAPs (A-kinase anchoring proteins)는 PKA(Protein Kinase A)의 조절 서브유닛을 결합하여 세포 내 특정 부위에 PKA 활성을 국소화시키는 스캐폴딩 단백질 계열입니다.
AKAP5(다른 이름: P75, AKAP75, AKAP79)는 주로 신경 조직에서 발현되며, type II PKA를 시냅스 후 밀집 부위에 위치시킵니다. AKAP5는 PKAII β 서브유닛과 결합하여 효소를 세포막 및 세포골격 접합 부위에 고정시키며, 칼모듈린, PP2B, 칼시뉴린 등과 상호작용하여 cAMP 및 Ca²⁺ 신호 경로를 조절하는 역할을 합니다.
