Target Information
West Nile virus (WNV)는 1999년 미국에서 처음 발견된 감염성 질환으로, 감염된 모기에 의해 전파됩니다. 대부분의 감염자는 무증상이거나 경미한 증상을 보이며, 발열, 두통, 근육통, 피부 발진, 림프절 부종 등이 나타날 수 있습니다.
West Nile virus의 pre-membrane 단백질(prM)은 envelope(E) 단백질의 올바른 접힘을 돕는 샤페론(chaperone) 역할을 하며, 바이러스 방출 과정에서 조기 융합을 방지합니다.
