Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Musashi-1 (MSI1) belongs to the Musashi family of RNA-binding proteins involved in cell fate determination and stem-cell maintenance. These proteins regulate post-transcriptional gene expression. Musashi-1 contains two conserved RNA recognition motifs (RNP motifs) and is expressed in fetal kidney, brain, liver, lung, and in adult brain and pancreas. In humans, the MSI1 gene is located on chromosome 12.
