Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information
Mammalian mitochondrial ribosomal proteins are encoded by nuclear genes and contribute to protein synthesis within mitochondria. Mitochondrial ribosomes consist of a small 28S subunit and a large 39S subunit, with a higher protein-to-rRNA ratio compared to prokaryotic ribosomes.
This gene encodes a 28S subunit protein involved in apoptotic pathways initiated by TNF-α, Fas ligand, and interferon-γ. The protein may bind ATP/GTP and interact with mitoribosomal protein S27. Splice variants differing in the 5′ UTR encode the same protein. Pseudogenes are located on chromosomes 1q and 2q.
