Applications Reported:
This rat IgG2a isotype control has been reported for use in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometric analysis, and immunoglobulin ELISA.

Applications Tested:
Used in flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocyte suspension; apply at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass produced by the rat immune system, known for complement activation and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
It has a molecular weight of approximately 160 kDa, composed of two heavy and two light chains.
Commonly used as a control or reference antibody in rat model experiments, and frequently applied in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.
