Target Information

HAL (Histidine ammonia-lyase)는 히스티딘 대사에서 첫 번째 반응을 촉매하는 세포질 효소로, L-histidine을 trans-urocanic acid로 비산화적 탈아민화한다. HAL 결함은 체액 내 히스티딘 및 히스타민 증가, urocanic acid 감소를 특징으로 하는 histidinemia를 유발한다.
