Target Information
NLRC4 encodes a member of the caspase recruitment domain-containing NLR family. These proteins play essential roles in the innate immune response to pathogenic organisms, tissue damage, and cellular stress. Mutations in NLRC4 are associated with autoinflammation with infantile enterocolitis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
