Target Information
STRBP is involved in spermatogenesis and sperm function. It plays a role in the regulation of cell growth and binds to double-stranded DNA and RNA. It binds most efficiently to poly(I:C) RNA compared to poly(dI:dC) DNA, and also binds to single-stranded poly(G) RNA. Additionally, it binds non-specifically to the mRNA PRM1 3′-UTR and adenovirus VA RNA.
