Target Information

AFP (Alpha Fetoprotein)은 태아 시기 동안 난황낭, 장, 간에서 생성되는 주요 혈장 단백질입니다. 성인에서 AFP 발현은 간암이나 기형종과 관련되어 있으며, 유전적으로 AFP가 지속적으로 발현되는 경우도 있습니다. AFP는 혈청 알부민의 태아형으로 알려져 있으며, 두 유전자는 염색체 4 상에서 나란히 위치합니다. AFP는 단량체, 이량체, 삼량체 형태로 존재하며 구리, 니켈, 지방산, 빌리루빈과 결합할 수 있습니다. 양수 내 AFP 수준은 척추이분증 및 무뇌증 선별에 사용되며, 혈청 AFP의 상승은 간세포암(HCC), 기형암, 대장암, 췌장암, 생식세포종양 등에서 관찰됩니다.
