Target Information
Hyaluronidase는 세포외기질 및 기저막에 존재하는 주요 구조 단백질인 히알루론산을 분해하는 효소입니다. Hyaluronidase 계열에는 6개의 구성원이 있으며, 염색체 3p21.3과 7q31.3에 밀집되어 있습니다.
SPAM1 유전자는 인간 정자의 표면 및 내부 아크로좀 막에 위치한 GPI-결합 효소를 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 정자가 난자를 둘러싼 히알루론산이 풍부한 세포층을 통과하도록 돕는 히알루로니다아제 기능을 가지며, 세포 신호전달과 정자-난자 결합에도 관여합니다.
이 유전자의 비정상적인 발현은 종양의 기저막 분해 및 전이에 관련된 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 다양한 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
