Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This intronless gene encodes a 70 kDa heat shock protein of the HSP70 family.
It stabilizes existing proteins against aggregation and assists in the folding of newly translated proteins in the cytosol and organelles.
Additionally, it participates in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway through interaction with AU-rich element RNA-binding protein 1.
The gene is located in the major histocompatibility complex class III region, clustered with two related genes encoding similar proteins.
