Target Information
CPLX1, encoded by the complexin/synaphin gene family, is a cytosolic protein involved in synaptic vesicle exocytosis. These proteins bind syntaxin, a component of the SNAP receptor complex. The CPLX1 protein disrupts the SNAP receptor complex to facilitate neurotransmitter release.
