Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
DYNC1I1 acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex, which links dynein to cargos and adapter proteins regulating dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 functions as a motor for intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. The intermediate chains mediate dynein binding to dynactin via its 150 kDa component (p150-glued, DCNT1) and may play a role in the interaction of dynein with membranous organelles and kinetochores.
