This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a proinflammatory cytokine that induces IFN-gamma production in T cells. In combination with IL-12, it inhibits IL-4–dependent IgE and IgG1 production and enhances IgG2a production in B cells. IL-18 binding protein interacts specifically with this cytokine and negatively regulates its biological activity.
