• ABS 002-09-02 is specific for C1s proenzyme and activated free C1s.
• Successfully used in ELISA procedures.
• Reacts in ELISA when tested with activated C1s enzyme directly coated onto the microtiter well or in sandwich ELISA in combination with a polyclonal antibody in coat.
• Epitope of ABS 002-09-02 differs from that of ABS 002-49-02.
• Concentration may vary between 0.85–1.15 mg/mL depending on lot.

Target Information

This gene encodes a serine protease, a major constituent of the human complement subcomponent C1.
C1s associates with complement components C1r and C1q to form the first component of the serum complement system.
Defects in this gene cause selective C1s deficiency.
