Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)은 281 아미노산 길이의 Type-1 Th1 특이 세포 표면 당단백질로, CD4⁺Th1 및 CD8⁺Tc1 세포에서 발현됩니다.
TIM3는 IgV-like 도메인, mucin-like 도메인, 그리고 세포질 영역의 타이로신 인산화 모티프를 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 대식세포 활성화, 자가면역 질환 유도, Th1 매개 면역 반응의 억제 및 면역 내성 형성에 관여합니다.
실험적 자가면역뇌척수염(EAE) 등 Th1 의존성 자가면역 질환의 병리적 진행과 관련이 있습니다.
