The ProcartaPlex Mouse Th1/Th2/Th9/Th17/Th22/Treg Cytokine Panel 17plex enables the exploration of the T helper response by analyzing 17 protein targets in a single well using Luminex xMAP technology.
This panel is composed of two modular sub-panels that are subsets of the Mouse Cytokine & Chemokine Panel 1A 36plex (Cat. No. EPX360-26092-901).
It is fully combinable with other sub-panels or individual simplex assays corresponding to the targets in the 45-plex panel.

ProcartaPlex preconfigured panels are extensively tested for analyte combinability, interference, and cross-reactivity to ensure high validation and precision. All necessary reagents for the assay are included.

ProcartaPlex multiplex panels are available for six species (human, mouse, rat, nonhuman primate, porcine, and canine).

About ProcartaPlex Assays for the Luminex Platform

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on a sandwich ELISA principle, using two highly specific antibodies that bind to different epitopes of a single protein to quantify multiple targets simultaneously via a Luminex instrument.
Only 25 μL of plasma or serum, or 50 μL of cell culture supernatant, is required, with results obtained in approximately four hours.

ProcartaPlex assays employ Luminex xMAP technology for simultaneous detection and quantitation of up to 80 protein targets in a single small-volume sample.
Each Luminex bead is internally dyed with unique fluorescent signatures identified by Luminex systems (e.g., Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX).
Matched antibody pairs capture the target protein, and detection is achieved using biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).

Unlike traditional ELISA, the capture antibody in ProcartaPlex assays is bead-conjugated and free-floating in solution, allowing multiplexed detection in a single well.
The Luminex instrument uses two lasers—one to identify each bead’s spectral signature and another to quantify fluorescence proportional to protein concentration.
This enables profiling of more targets with less sample volume and time compared to conventional ELISA.
