Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Cytokeratin 15 is a member of the keratin gene family. Keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial cells. They are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. Most type I cytokeratins are acidic proteins arranged in heterotypic pairs and clustered on chromosome 17q21.2.
