Target Information
Plays an essential role in total transketolase activity and cell proliferation in cancer cells. After transfection with anti-TKTL1 siRNA, total transketolase activity dramatically decreases and proliferation is significantly inhibited in cancer cells. Plays a pivotal role in carcinogenesis.
