Target Information
DAPK3 (ZIPK) is a serine/threonine kinase associated with cell motility, smooth muscle contractility, and cell death. It is a component of desmosomes and the epidermal cornified envelope in keratinocytes.
- N-terminal domain interacts with the plasma membrane.
- C-terminal domain interacts with intermediate filaments.
- Forms complexes with envoplakin through its rod domain.
- May link the cornified envelope, desmosomes, and intermediate filaments.
- Interacts with AKT1/PKB, suggesting a role in localization within AKT1-mediated signaling pathways.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
