Product Specific Information

  • Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

LMO2 encodes a cysteine-rich, two LIM-domain protein required for yolk sac erythropoiesis.
The LMO2 protein has a central and crucial role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved.
The LMO2 transcription start site is located approximately 25 kb downstream from the 11p13 T-cell translocation cluster (11p13 ttc), where several T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia-specific translocations occur.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
