This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human ENO3/beta-enolase.

Target Information

This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme is found in adult skeletal muscle cells, where it may play a role in muscle development and regeneration. A switch from alpha enolase to beta enolase occurs in muscle tissue during development in rodents. Mutations in this gene have been associated with glycogen storage disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
