Target Information
CNOT1은 CCR4-NOT 복합체의 스캐폴딩 구성요소로, 세포 내 주요 mRNA deadenylase 복합체 중 하나입니다.
이 복합체는 다음과 같은 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다:
- mRNA 분해 및 miRNA 매개 억제
- 번역 개시 단계에서의 번역 억제
- 전사 조절 및 mRNA 발현 조절
CNOT1은 촉매 복합체 모듈과 RNA 결합 단백질의 상호작용을 통해 특정 mRNA 3’ UTR로 복합체를 유도합니다.
또한 ZFP36과의 결합을 통해 AU-rich element(ARE)를 포함한 mRNA의 분해에 관여하며, TNRC6A/B/C와의 상호작용을 통해 CCR4-NOT 복합체를 miRNA 타깃 및 RISC 복합체로 유도합니다.
핵 수용체에 의한 리간드 의존적 전사 활성화를 억제하는 전사 억제 인자로 작용하며, 배아줄기세포(ES cell)의 정체성 유지에도 관여합니다.
