The NANOGOLD conjugate of F(ab`)2 fragment of goat anti-rabbit IgG is labeled with small, uniformly sized (1.4 nm) gold particles at approximately a 1:1 ratio in the hinge region, remote from the antigen-binding site. This configuration allows use in immunoblotting, light microscopy, and electron microscopy applications.

Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems such as HRP, AP, and fluorescence. Typically, they are produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
