Target Information
c-Jun is a transcription factor that recognizes and binds the enhancer heptamer motif 5'-TGA[CG]TCA-3'.
Phosphorylation by HIPK3 enhances NR5A1 activity, increasing steroidogenic gene expression upon cAMP pathway stimulation.
Also involved in KRAS-mediated transcriptional activation of USP28 in colorectal cancer (CRC) cells.
