Formin 단백질은 모든 진핵생물에서 보존된 단백질군으로, DAD (diaphanous autoregulatory domain), FH2 (formin homology 2), GBD/FH3 (Rho GTPase-binding/formin homology 3) 도메인을 포함합니다. FRL1은 세포질에 위치하며 비장, 림프절, 골수 세포에서 높게 발현됩니다. 세포 운동성 조절, 대식세포 생존, 세포골격 조직화에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
