• Reconstitute the lyophilized powder with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
• Competitive ELISA recommended dilution: 5–30 µg/mL.
• The lyophilized product remains stable up to 1 year at −20 °C from date of receipt.
• Upon reconstitution, store for 2–3 weeks at 2–8 °C or up to 12 months at −20 °C or below.
• Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Target Information

Denosumab is a fully human IgG2 monoclonal antibody specific to receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand (RANKL). It suppresses bone resorption markers in patients with various metastatic tumors and is being investigated for the prevention and treatment of bone metastases. Chemically, it consists of two heavy and two light chains. Each light chain has 215 amino acids, and each heavy chain has 448 amino acids with four intramolecular disulfide bonds. FDA approved on June 1, 2010.
