Target Information
Phosphoglycerate mutase (PGAM)은 해당과정(glycolytic pathway)에서 3-phosphoglycerate(3-PGA)를 2-phosphoglycerate(2-PGA)로 전환하는 가역 반응을 촉매하는 효소입니다. PGAM은 이합체(dimeric) 효소로, 근육(MM), 뇌(BB), 혼합형(MB) 이성질체로 존재합니다. PGAM2 유전자는 근육 특이적 PGAM 서브유닛을 암호화하며, 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 glycogen storage disease X로 알려진 근육 phosphoglycerate mutase 효소 결핍을 유발할 수 있습니다.
