Target Information

Protein kinase A (PKA, cAMP-dependent protein kinase)는 세포 주기, 세포 간 신호 전달, 기억 형성 및 행동에 중요한 보편적 신호 경로의 핵심 요소입니다. PKA는 두 개의 촉매 서브유닛(PKAc)과 두 개의 조절 서브유닛(PKAr)으로 구성됩니다.
cAMP가 결합되면 복합체는 PKAr 이합체와 두 개의 활성화된 PKAc ser/thr 단백질 키나아제 촉매 단량체로 분리됩니다. 방출된 PKAc는 핵으로 이동하여 여러 핵 수용체의 활성화를 조절할 수 있습니다.
PKAc에 의한 삼투압 의존적 유전자 발현의 활성화는 cAMP 비의존적으로 일어납니다.
인간은 세 가지 PKAc 서브유닛을 발현하며, PKAc alpha는 대부분의 조직에서, PKAc beta와 gamma는 조직 특이적으로 존재하며 gamma는 고환에서 발견됩니다.
