Product Specific Information

To minimize cross-reactivity, these goat anti-mouse IgG (H+L) whole secondary antibodies have been affinity purified and cross-adsorbed against human IgG and human serum prior to conjugation. This purification step increases specificity, resulting in higher sensitivity and reduced background staining.

Alexa Fluor 546 dye is a bright, orange-fluorescent dye ideally suited to the 546 nm laser line. It provides stable signal generation and high photostability, allowing detection of low-abundance biological structures with great sensitivity. Each conjugate typically contains 2–8 fluorophore molecules per IgG molecule.

Before use, centrifuge the conjugate solution briefly and use the supernatant to reduce nonspecific staining. Recommended final concentration for fluorophore-labeled antibodies is 1–10 µg/mL for most ICC/IF and flow cytometry applications.

They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of targets and provide signal amplification through multiple secondary bindings. These antibodies can be further purified or modified to generate highly specific reagents.
