Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

Microtubules are dynamic intracellular polymers composed of alpha/beta-tubulin heterodimers and associated proteins (MAPs). They exhibit polarity with dynamic plus ends and less dynamic minus ends, essential for processes such as mitosis, meiosis, cell shape maintenance, and intracellular transport.
Alpha-tubulin (~50 kDa) exists as soluble alpha/beta-tubulin dimers or as part of microtubule polymers. In humans, six tubulin genes encode different tubulin classes. Microtubule polymerization is reversible, exhibiting dynamic instability where microtubules alternately grow and shorten at their ends.
