Target Information
CD55 (decay-accelerating factor, DAF)은 GPI-앵커된 막 당단백질로, 보체 경로의 활성화를 억제하여 자가 세포를 보호합니다. CD55와 CD97 간의 상호작용은 T 세포 조절에 관여하며, 종양에서 CD55는 신생혈관 형성, 종양 발생, 침습성 및 세포사멸 회피를 촉진합니다.
CD55는 적혈구에서 약 70 kDa의 당단백질이며, 다른 세포에서는 O-당화로 인해 분자량이 더 큽니다. CD55는 활성화된 C4b 또는 C3b 보체 단편에 결합하여 보체 경로의 조립을 방지하고 분해를 가속화합니다. 또한 Cromer 관련 혈액형 항원을 포함하며, 두 개의 전사체가 알려져 있습니다. 주요 전사체는 막 결합형 단백질을 암호화하며, 다른 전사체는 낮은 수준의 가용성 단백질을 생성합니다. CD55는 전립선암 성장 및 생존과 관련된 역할이 보고되었습니다.
