Through TRIP4 ufmylation, may regulate nuclear receptor-mediated transcription.
May play a role in NF-kappa-B-mediated transcription via regulation of phosphorylation and degradation of NFKBIA (NF-kappa-B inhibitor).
May also participate in cellular response to endoplasmic reticulum stress.
