Target Information
STAT3는 STAT (Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription) 단백질 계열에 속하며, 수용체 관련 키나아제에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동 후 전사 인자로 작용합니다. CREB-binding protein과 같은 공동활성화 인자가 STAT3의 전사 활성화에 필요하며, IFN-α, IFN-γ, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등에 의해 활성화됩니다. Tyr705의 인산화는 STAT3 이합체 형성, 핵 이동, DNA 결합에 필수적입니다. 인간의 STAT3 유전자는 17번 염색체 q arm에 위치하며, Rac1 및 PIAS3 단백질에 의해 조절됩니다. STAT3는 세포 성장과 세포사멸을 포함한 다양한 세포 과정에 핵심적인 역할을 수행합니다.
