- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF)는 CFTR 유전자의 변이에 의해 발생하는 치명적인 유전 질환으로, cAMP에 의해 조절되는 염화이온 통로 단백질의 기능 이상을 초래합니다. 전체 CF 사례의 약 70%는 508번째 위치의 페닐알라닌 결실(delta F508) 돌연변이를 포함하며, 이는 비정상적인 염화이온 수송을 유발합니다. CFTR은 Salmonella typhi가 장 상피세포에 침투하는 데 사용되는 것으로 알려져 있으며, delta F508 변이를 가진 생쥐는 S. typhi의 장 점막하 흡수율이 크게 감소하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
