Target Information
DEF-3와 LUCA15는 진화적으로 보존된 RNA 결합 단백질 계열에 속하며, 유사한 발현 패턴을 보입니다. 두 단백질은 성체 심장과 흉선, 태아 신장에서 높게 발현되며, 반대로 태아 흉선과 성체 신장에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
마우스의 조혈계에서는 DEF-3 발현이 전구세포가 과립구로 분화할 때 감소하지만, 대식세포 발달 동안에는 유지됩니다.
DEF-3와 LUCA15는 두 개의 zinc finger motif, bipartite nuclear signal, 두 개의 RNA binding motif를 포함하며, poly(G) RNA에 특이적으로 결합할 수 있습니다.
