Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes before staining.
Target Information
Filaggrin is expressed only in well-differentiated keratinized epithelial cells. Its synthesis varies across different types of ichthyosis and may change under viral, premalignant, or malignant conditions.
