Target Information

Cofactor E는 β-tubulin의 올바른 접힘 경로에 관여하는 네 가지 단백질(cofactors A, D, E, C) 중 하나입니다. Cofactors A와 D는 β-tubulin 중간체를 포획하고 안정화하는 역할을 하며, Cofactor E는 cofactor D/β-tubulin 복합체에 결합합니다. 이후 cofactor C와의 상호작용을 통해 β-tubulin 폴리펩타이드가 방출되어 native 상태로 접히게 됩니다.
