Target Information
BetaIII-tubulin isoform is dominantly expressed in neuronal cells and serves as one of the earliest markers of neuronal differentiation. It is a specific probe for cells and tumors of neuronal origin. Although most abundant in neuronal cells, betaIII-tubulin is also detected in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.
