Target Information
CPS1은 미토콘드리아 효소로, 암모니아와 중탄산염으로부터 carbamoyl phosphate를 합성합니다. 이 반응은 요소 회로의 첫 번째 단계로, 세포 내 과잉 요소 제거에 중요합니다. 이 유전자는 세 가지 전사 변이를 가지며, 일부 변이는 미토콘드리아에 국한되지 않을 수 있습니다. CPS1 유전자 돌연변이는 carbamoyl phosphate synthetase 결핍, 지속적 폐고혈압, 골수이식 후 정맥폐쇄질환과 관련이 있습니다.
