Product Specific Information
This antibody detects recombinant mouse MICL/CLEC12A in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human MICL is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
CD371, also known as CLEC12A or Myeloid Inhibitory C-type Lectin-like receptor (MICL), is a highly glycosylated transmembrane receptor with a cytoplasmic ITIM that associates with SHP1 and SHP2. It is expressed mainly on granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, including plasmacytoid dendritic cells. Expression on NK cells remains controversial. Studies suggest that CD371 plays a role in inflammation and LPS activation.
