Target Information
Chloride channels are a diverse group of proteins that regulate key cellular processes such as membrane potential stabilization, transepithelial transport, intracellular pH maintenance, and cell volume regulation.
Chloride intracellular channel 4 (CLIC4), encoded by the CLIC4 gene, belongs to the p64 family. It is expressed in many tissues and shows an intracellular vesicular distribution pattern in Panc-1 cells (pancreatic cancer cells).
