Target Information
NOTCH3는 Drosophila melanogaster의 type I 막단백질 notch의 인간 상동체 중 세 번째로 발견된 단백질입니다. NOTCH3는 Jagged1, Jagged2, Delta1과 같은 막 결합 리간드와 상호작용하여 세포 운명 결정에 관여하는 수용체로 작용합니다.
NOTCH3 유전자 변이는 CADASIL(cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy)의 원인으로 알려져 있습니다.
